Setting up the Printer
The Conveyer Port can maximize the operation of a conveyer
when used with the printer. Settings used for configuring the
port for a conveyer are found in the Main Menu.
Connecting to
the Conveyer
Port: Teleco
Connector
The port is designed to connect to the Bryce Pulse Box
(optional), then the box to the conveyer. With the Bryce Pulse
Box connected the conveyer will only operate while the
printer is printing addresses. The printer can control the
singling of the media onto the conveyer by fine tuning the
conveyer speed adjustment in the Main Menu of the printer.
These options will allow the maximum number of pieces of
media to be fed onto the
conveyor and the longest
drying time before the
conveyer stacks the
media.
Modifications to the
amount of time the
conveyer continues to run
after printing a record is
done through the
CONVEYER TIME
option in the MAIN
MENU. See Section
Conveyer Time for more
information.
The following Schematic and Diagram of the Teleco
Connector port show where the microprocessor signals to
control the conveyer is found. Use the following Schematic to
get the conveyer signal.
